Our Story, Our Passion

Welcome to C and D BBQ, where smoke, fire, and family come together to bring authentic Texas-style barbecue to the DMV.

 

Founded by Cesar Gaytan, C and D BBQ was built on a passion for bold flavors, slow-smoked meats, and a deep respect for barbecue done right. What started as a family love for Texas-style BBQ has grown into a full-blown mission: to serve the DMV area the kind of food that feeds both the body and the soul.

 

Our Story

 

It all started in Cesar’s backyard in Southern California — a smoker, a dream, and a whole lot of brisket. Inspired by the legendary barbecue pits of Texas, Cesar spent years perfecting his craft. With the support of his family and a growing demand from the community, C and D BBQ was born.

 

From backyard cookouts to catering large events, our journey has always been about sharing real, flavorful barbecue made with care, quality ingredients, and time-honored technique.
